UAE Revises Trademark Service Fee Structure
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Cabinet has issued Resolution No. (102) of 2025 amending certain provisions of Cabinet Resolution No. (20) of 2020 concerning the service fees of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism. The proposed changes to trademark fees are outlined below:
2. The National Program members are granted a partial exemption of 50% of government fees for trademark services.
3. Persons with disabilities (People of Determination) are granted a full exemption from paying government fees.
4. Brand inspection in one day with payment of official fee of USD 2250.
5. Government fees now apply to filing grievances and requesting an examination and examination of a trademark infringement lawsuit.
6. Conversion of the national trademark to an international trademark through WIPO, including fees.
