Qatar Joins the Nice Agreement: A Major Milestone for Trade Mark Protection
On November 11, 2025, Qatar deposited its instrument of accession to the Nice Agreement Concerning the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks.
This is a key milestone in the country’s efforts to strengthen it’s intellectual property ecosystem.
The Nice Agreement will enter into force for Qatar on February 10, 2026.
