- English
Patent engineer Kendall Delbene holds a B.S. and an M.S. in biomedical engineering. Her research experience in biomedical devices coupled with a background in usability, user-centered design and human factors, enables her to capture what makes an invention distinct and translate it into strong, precise claims. In her role as a patent engineer, Kendall prepares and prosecutes patent applications for medical devices and related technologies.
Prior to joining OBWB, Kendall worked as a graduate research assistant at Texas A&M University's Optical Biosensing Laboratory. Her research includes developing a finger tissue phantom for wearable sensor validation, designing the circuitry for a patent-pending ring wearable, and prototyping an EEG deployment device.
