Gopal  Rao  Gannamraj

Gopal Gannamraj is an intellectual property attorney focusing his expertise on all stages of patent litigation as well as licensing, enforcement, counseling, and strategic planning of patent portfolios. In addition, Gopal participates in dispute resolution matters related to intellectual property issues of clients.

Gopal has experience in patent procurement and related due diligence work. He directs his practice toward electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical technologies in wide ranging areas including semiconductors, microcontrollers, home appliance/mobile device communication, machine learning, bluetooth, medical devices, high security access devices, and autonomous farming technology.

Prior to joining Osha Bergman Watanabe & Burton LLP, Gopal gained a wide variety of experience in the intellectual property field participating in all stages of patent litigation, patent prosecution, patent procurement, and general monetization of patent portfolios. From participating in conversations with inventors prior to patent drafting and then through the patent prosecution process along with his experience in patent litigation from the pre-trial stages, through the trial stages and additional alternative dispute resolution stages, Gopal has acquired a broad knowledge of all facets of intellectual property law.
