OBWB Commemorates 25th Anniversary
The Houston office commemorated the firm's 25th anniversary with a wonderful celebration. We hosted our crawfish boil event at a venue with a view of the Houston skyline, and which (fittingly) overlooked our HQ office.
IPOEF World IP Day Event
OBWB partner Carlyn Burton participated in one of IPOEF's World IP Day events held in Houston in collaboration with "We Will" - an organization that encourages women of color to enter law. Carlyn spoke on behalf of IPOEF about IP in general and IP as a career in law The event was at the Young Women College Preparatory Academy, an HISD 6-12th school that has a STEM focus.

The AIPLA 2023 Women in IP Law Global Networking Event was held on April 27th. OBWB's Hangzhou office hosted the Hangzhou session. The theme of this year's event was, "Owning Your Voice" - encouraging women to find their space and speak up on their role in the legal profession.
