Dr. Tian works with emerging technologies in optics, telecommunications, nanotechnologies, and chemicals. She assists with preparing and prosecuting foreign and domestic patent applications, preparing responses to U.S. Office actions, as well as patentability and freedom-to operate opinions.
Prior to joining Osha Bergman Watanabe & Burton (OBWB) , Dr. Tian worked as a scientific advisor at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, in Houston, Texas. Her experience includes years of academic research in semiconductors & electronic devices, nanomaterial synthesis & characterization, optics & photonics, catalysis, biosensors, lithium batteries, and supercapacitors. She has authored numerous articles which have been published in high impact factor (IF) journals, e.g., Nature Energy (IF=54.026), Energy & Environmental Science (IF=33.250), ACS Energy Letters (IF=16.33).
