Dr. Alli Antar is a patent engineer with a background in chemistry and biophysics. She is an accomplished academic scientist with 25 years of research and work in drug (small molecule) and nutritional studies, genetic manipulation, medical devices, and laboratory equipment.

Prior to joining OBWB, Dr. Antar was an assistant professor at the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Nutrition at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Over the course of her academic training and career, she has established expertise in autoimmune and cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other endocrine/hormone disorders, environmental and toxicological studies, epidemiology, metabolism (cellular and wholebody), including metabolomics, obesity, vitamins and nutrients, including deficiencies, immunology, physiology, pharmacology, and molecular biology. 

Dr. Antar brings this breadth of knowledge and insight to her work drafting and prosecuting patents for a wide array of domestic and international clients.
