Amber Bollinger is a patent engineer with a background in biomedical engineering and business. She brings a collaborative, analytical approach to evaluating emerging technologies and supporting intellectual property matters across biomedical engineering, medical devices, and related technologies.

Prior to joining OBWB, Amber worked as a research assistant at the Weir Biomechatronics Development Laboratory in Aurora, Colorado. Her work there focused on improving prosthesis control through computational modeling of muscle signals using surface electromyography. This work provided experience in applying engineering principles and analytical methods to complex biomedical technologies and translating research concepts into practical applications.

In addition to her research experience, Amber has supported client-facing prototyping and product-development activities, including project scoping, design-for-manufacturing guidance, cost estimation, workflow development, and technical communication. Her combined engineering and business background enables her to understand complex technologies from both technical and commercial perspectives, while considering practical factors such as development timelines, resources, manufacturing requirements, and organizational objectives.
