Drawing on his academic and professional background in mechanical engineering, Adrian applies a strong technical foundation to his work supporting clients in intellectual property matters. In his role as a patent engineer, Adrian works closely with clients to understand the underlying technology in order to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, comprehensive patent applications designed to effectively protect clients' innovations.
Prior to joining OBWB, Adrian worked as a research assistant at the New York Institute of Technology where he led an undergraduate research team under Dr. Ioppolo. The team conducted CFD-based thermofluid analysis of wind tunnels and delivered a cost-effective modular platform suitable for turbulence, boundary-layer, and educational research.
Adrian's work experience includes time as an AI Engineering Expert at Handshake AI. Adrian served as a freelance technical trainer for frontier AI labs on Project Planck and Project Hedgehog, applying expertise in mechanical engineering to evaluate and improve model accuracy and output.
At OBWB, Adrian supports patent prosecution matters through patent application drafting, technical analysis, claim development, and preparation of responses to patent office communications.
