Ian  Balaguera

Patent Engineer Ian Balaguera supports OBWB's international team in drafting and prosecuting patent applications across diverse technologies. Ian is experienced in integrate computational engineering and has successfully used AI to drive innovation at the intersection of technology, energy, and digital media. 

Prior to joining OBWB, Mr. Balaguera led the development of an AI-enhanced head-swapping tool that contributed to a vendor agreement with HBO; he also partnered with a startup through Breuer Lab to advance wind and hydrofoil energy-harvesting systems using automated testing and performance analytics.
